Immigration Seminar on September 12, 2003

It is my pleasure to invite you to an immigration seminar led by Michael
    Maggio of Maggio-Kattar law firm.

This firm is one of very few firms that UCSF works with on a regular basis
for Permanent Residency and other immigration petitions.

Michael will speak to the UCSF community on Friday, September 12th, from
10:00 am to 11:30 am with additional half hour reserved for your questions!

    Topics to be covered include:

-- The changing landscape in immigration law and policy since September
    11th, 2001.

-- Individual options for self-petitions for Permanent Residency.

-- The availability of waivers for those individuals subject to "2 year
    home
    residency requirement."

So that we have the right size room for this event, you MUST RSVP to Emily
Henderson by Wednesday, September 3rd. Emily's e-mail is:
    emilyjh@itsa.ucsf.edu or at 2-0887.

Visa and SEVIS compliance is a shared responsibility, your full cooperation in this serious issue will avoid any potential problems with your stay in the United States.
