Capacity & Preparatory Review
Submitted to WASC: December 10, 2008
Site visit: February 18-20, 2009
Site visit team report sent to UCSF: May 22, 2009
The Capacity and Preparatory Review has two purposes:
- To demonstrate the capacity to carry out the actions recommended in the Institutional Proposal
- To demonstrate adequate preparation for the Educational Effectiveness Review in 2010
UCSF's Capacity and Preparatory Review (CPR) was developed by the 2008 WASC Steering Committee chaired by Joseph Castro, Vice Provost for Student Academic Affairs and Sally Marshall, Vice Provost for Academic Affairs. The 2008 Committee included representatives from the four professional Schools, the Graduate Division, the Staff Council, the Graduate Student's Association, the Postdoctoral Scholars Association, the campus Library, and four Academic Senate committees.
Presentations about the CPR were made to all School Faculty Council and to Staff and Student Groups, the WASC web pages (this site) went live in early December 2008, and articles about UCSF's reaccreditation effort appeared in UCSF today.
